In September 2023 we held a series of ‘Welcome to Yeargroup’ meetings for parents. To supplement this, Headteacher Mrs Howard has recorded some helpful videos for parents to understand how maths is taught in our school. Please click on the links below for your child’s relevant yeargroup. We will also be sending these out to parents half-termly via email. Each Half Term, we are planning to share a deep delve in to a specific subject with curriculum highlights.
For Spring 1 we have developed a Maths article to demonstrate what we’ve been up to. Please click here to view all the interesting work we’ve completed this term.
We’d also like to draw your attention to the curriculum section of our website. It contains a wealth of information including curriculum maps by subject, outlining very detailed plans for the whole term. Recent parent voice highlighted that you’d be interested to see more about our lesson plans and it’s really useful to look ahead with the children to talk about what topics are coming up. Our curriculum is central to all our learning so we aim to make it as accessible and engaging as possible.
Oswald Road Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children. We require all staff, volunteers and visitors to share the commitment. For more information and resources, view our safeguarding page by clicking here.
