Start of the School Day

School gates open at 8.30am and children are to be in school by 8:45am, which is the official start of the school day. See drop-0ff details for each yeargroup below. There are no set gates for particular yeargroups to use.

• Nursery, Reception & Year 1 children are to be dropped at their classroom door. Doors open at 8:35am
• Year 2 children are to line up on the pitches and the teacher will walk them into class at 8:35am. Children arriving after their line but before 8:40am will need to walk to class by themselves.
• Year 3 children are to line up on the tarmac area between the pitches and the carpark and the teacher will walk them into class at 8:35am. Children arriving after their line but before 8:40am will need to walk to class by themselves.
• Years 4, 5 & 6 children are to walk up to class by themselves by 8:40am.

Registration must take place by 8.55am latest to avoid a late mark.

The total number of hours the children attend school across a typical week is 32.5 hours.

End of the school day

The school day ends at 3:15pm. See pick up locations below. There are no set gates for particular yeargroups to use.

• Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children are to be collected at the classroom door
• Year 2 children are to be collected from the playground area between the hall and the Reception building
• Year 3, Year 4 and 5A children are to be collected from the main playground- parents should wait near the black pitch area.
• The rest of Year 5 and Year 6 are to be collected from the Owl Club entrance on Nicolas Road. Parents should wait outside the small hall.
