Oswald Road – Two Year Old Nursery Provision

We are delighted to announce that we will be launching a brand new Nursery provision at Oswald Road Primary School for two year olds. We’re now accepting applications for the September 2026 intake.

We’re creating a purpose-built, state-of-the-art early years environment designed specifically for children of this age. In response to growing demand for high-quality childcare for two year olds in the local area, our Nursery will provide up to 42 places in a welcoming and inspiring setting for children to begin their learning journey.

Our single-storey Nursery building has been thoughtfully designed to provide generous, open-plan spaces where the children will feel at ease exploring. Every detail has been carefully considered, allowing the children to move freely between activities and different areas, designed to encourage creativity and play-based learning.

The Nursery will also include a covered outdoor activity area, allowing children to play and learn outside in all weathers, as well as a dedicated Nursery playground created specifically for early years development. Children will also enjoy access to our Owl Garden, a green, outdoor learning space that encourages exploration and connection with nature.

The Nursery will be led by an experienced and passionate Early Years team who are committed to providing exceptional care and education. The staffing team will be headed by a Lead Teacher and a Lead Higher Level Teaching Assistant, ensuring strong leadership and consistent, high quality practice. Our staff understand just how important the earliest years are in shaping your child’s development. They will work closely with families to build strong relationships, respond to individual needs, and ensure every child is supported to thrive and reach their full potential.

We are incredibly excited to open the doors to this wonderful new space and to welcome the youngest members of our school community in September 2026. We will operate all year round, with flexible before and after school options, plus access to holiday clubs to support working families.

Over the coming weeks more information will be available with our Two Year Olds Provision Policy being released and the opportunity to learn more about the staff. The policy will include pricing, wraparound arrangements, consumables and more.
