Covid-19 Catch-Up Funding
As you may be aware, all schools in England have been given a ‘catch-up fund’ by the Government to spend on funding for specific activities to support their pupils to catch-up for lost teaching over the previous months.
The amount of funding for each school depends on the number of pupils on roll and schools have the flexibility to spend their funding in the best way they see fit for their cohort and circumstances.
We have put together a document that outlines our spending strategy for this fund at Oswald Road- you can view this by clicking on the link below. You will see that a great deal of the funding has gone into enhancing our pastoral offer. This is because we feel that creating the right mindset for learning in our children is a priority, and we are aware of the huge impact the last year has had on our pupils’ wellbeing.
NOTE- MAY 2021: amendments have been made to the above and document (alongside review) will be re-published shortly.
